Magermajor, Not worth it.I paid the extra money for the advanced pop/click filtering. The high pass filter was the only thing that helped, somewhat—and that was free. Otherwise, it did a great job of distorting the rest of the clips, nothing for the clicks and pops. Not worth the money, unless you’re already a pro, in which case there are, I’m sure, better products out there. Developer Response,Hi,We are very sorry to hear that you have had issues with the filtering.
Did you message our support team about this issue? We would love to try to resolve this for you.
WavePad audio editing software is a solid choice, as it is accessible to both professionals and novices. Check out our review of this affordable. Sep 09, 2019 WavePad Free sound and audio editing application. Record, edit, and add effects, then send audio to yourself or others to share or continuing editing on another device. WavePad Free allows you to record voice or music, then edit the recording and add sound effects, clean up background noise and more to achieve high quality audio recordings.
Development team will be investigating your report about the audio files being distorted. We again apologize for any frustration you've had working on this.-NCH Software Team.
Bjrubble, Great editing app, wish they had a personal versionI had some poor-quality recordings of some family members that I needed to clean up, and this app worked great! The feature where you can sample a snippet of audio and make a filter out of it is amazing - my recordings had a lot of background noise, so I sampled the background noise and filtered that from the rest of the recording, and voices that were barely audible before are now incredibly clear.I would absolutely pay for this feature, but the full app is way more powerful (and way too expensive) for my needs. Which is too bad.
DarkestJay868, Mobile Version Better than Computer VersionDon’t get the wrong idea, I love Wavepad and it definitely helps me when I’m adjusting audio, but it’s very frustrating that I can only use it on my phone. Paid $15 on the mobile version no problem, works fine. However, I wanted to try using it on the computer because it’s a pain to rely on my phone when the music app isn’t always playing my songs. It went from paying $15 to not being able to restore that purchase or features and asking to pay $100 instead?
That’s ridiculous that mobile version is $15 and computer version is $100. Recommend this app if you’re using it on your phone, it’s absolutely horrible for computer though.
